What side effects can this medication cause?
Common side effects from using triamcinolone include:
allergic reaction
rash
irritation
acne
itching
discoloration of skin
Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away:
insomnia
nausea
vomiting
stomach upset
fatigue or dizziness
muscle weakness
problems with diabetes control
increased hunger or thirst
If you experience any of the following symptoms, call your doctor immediately:
an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of the throat; swelling of the lips, tongue, or face; or hives)
increased blood pressure (severe headache or blurred vision)
sudden weight gain (more than 5 pounds in a day or two)
pain, redness, or skin changes at the site of injection
